Meet Dr. Simon Boyarskiy
Biography
When I was a teenager I was inspired by my uncle, who was a dentist, to follow in his professional footsteps.
I grew up in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, where I attended high school and graduated top of the class. I studied dentistry in Lithuania for 2 years before coming to the U.S at the age of 19.
I continued my dental education at Northwestern University in Chicago and graduated from the DDS program in 1997 ranked first in my class.
To become a specialist in orthodontics several additional years of training were required.
I completed my orthodontic residency in 1999 at the same school, Northwestern University Dental School. During the same time I received Master of Science degree from Northwestern University. My Master thesis and research was related to the orthodontic treatment of the cleft lip and palate patients. I opened my own practice in 2002.

An orthodontics is an amazing profession that combines basic fundamentals in physics, anatomy, physiology, and esthetics with the most recent advances in the areas of biology, science of materials and computer technology. Continuing education is a very important tool which helps us to stay on top of all innovative changes and assures the high quality of orthodontics that we provide to our patients. Each year, I attend many hours of professional lectures to enhance my knowledge of orthodontics, to improve my skills and apply many innovative ideas in my practice.
Outside the Office
When not in the office I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my wife Yuliya and our three children.
